Stefan Karner, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c.
In 1993 Univ-Prof. Dr. Stefan Karner founded the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute on Consequences of War, led the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Research on the Consequences of War until 2018 and, together with a team of excellent young colleagues, developed it into a flagship of the Boltzmann Society.
